Every day at dusk he dies, his flame slowly extinguished as he sinks into the depths of the sea. There his tomb awaits, and the sea nymph he loves. And so he clings to the last shreds of consciousness, struggling to catch a last glimpse of her before darkness claims him for yet another night.
